A lyric video made for a song about when you really just don’t get the deal. This is a lyric video for the song “Don’t Get The Deal” by Beabadoobee. Most of the assets in this video were hand-drawn and scanned by me, before bringing them into After Effects to create the finished product. I was also heavily inspired by the cover art for the album that this song is on, Beatopia. I feel that this particular organic and whimsical art style, combined with the use of multimedia, really helps drive the message of the song; which to me, has always read like a diary entry, or texts you never send. Oh, young love... or lack thereof? Seriously, I don’t get the deal. ₊˚࿔*:･୧
